Marissa is a board-certified Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in cardiovascular care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from DeSales University in Pennsylvania in 2008 and began her nursing career in the cardiovascular ICU at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
In 2012, Marissa relocated to Arizona, where she worked in multiple cardiac ICUs throughout the valley. She went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in 2019, becoming a Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult-geriatric acute care with a subspeciality in Cardiology.
For the past four years, Marissa has worked with patients in both hospital and clinic settings, helping them manage and improve their cardiovascular health. She is excited to be part of the Lifetime Heart and Vascular team, where she continues to provide thoughtful and personalized care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, swimming, traveling, exploring new cuisines, and getting creative with arts and crafts.
